A Mexican influencer’s explosive Disneyland livestream turned the Happiest Place on Earth into a screaming match Wednesday night, after she accused a passing dad of groping her.
Yoatzi Castro, 30, was posing for photos with friends in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle while broadcasting live when a man in a white T-shirt and glasses walked by with his female companion, who was pushing a stroller.
Castro immediately whipped around, punched the man in the back and launched into a profanity-laced tirade.“Bro, no, he grabbed my a—,” she yelled on camera. She later claimed he “fingered me basically” and branded him a “f—king pedophile” and “disgusting a—” who was “disrespecting women.”The man, later identified as Christopher Poitras, looked stunned. “I’m sorry, I accidentally just…” he started to say, before asking, “What are you talking about?” as he and his partner hurried toward the castle gates.
Anaheim police arrested Poitras on suspicion of misdemeanor sexual battery after Disneyland security tracked him down from Castro’s description. He was cited and released the same night. A court date has not been set.
But a close look at the widely circulated livestream clip tells a more ambiguous story.
As Poitras passes behind Castro, his left hand swings naturally at his side. His pinky appears to briefly brush or graze the area of her backside. There is no visible grab, squeeze, or lingering contact. His hand does not wrap around her or disappear into her clothing in the way Castro described.
Crowded park, people walking close together, arms swinging, the contact looks fleeting at best.
Castro told followers she felt “insanely violated” and was grateful the cameras were rolling. “If we weren’t streaming, I feel like I would’ve had no evidence,” she said.
The video evidence she celebrated is now the same footage viewers are pausing and rewatching, debating whether it shows a sexual battery or an accidental brush that detonated into a viral confrontation.
Poitras has not publicly commented. Police said they were unaware of any prior incidents involving him. The investigation remains open.
