A 42-year-old Missouri mother of three who was pulled from classrooms after her OnlyFans account was exposed says the snitch who reported her did her a solid, her adult-content business exploded once the story hit the news.

Sheena Sittner, of Ballwin, had been working as a substitute teacher through the staffing firm Kelly Education in the Parkway School District near St. Louis, pulling in roughly $125 to $140 a day. For more than two years, she and her husband, Tim, were also posting explicit videos on OnlyFans to help cover bills, including college tuition and student loans for their older kids.

“If teachers were paid better, women wouldn’t have to resort to online content creation,” Sittner told local reporters. “Sex sells.”

The account stayed under the radar until September, when someone, Sittner believes it took “deep-dive digging”, recognized her page and tipped off her employer. Kelly Education suspended her pending termination and told her to stay away from schools. She initially worried the directive would keep her from volunteering at her 9-year-old son’s elementary school, but the district later clarified she could still participate as a parent after clearing a background check and required training.

Once local TV aired the story, the money started rolling in. Sittner said on a St. Louis radio show that she switched her account from an anonymous handle to her real name and watched subscribers jump from about 20 to roughly 1,000. She claimed she made nearly $25,000 in roughly a week and a half, the equivalent of more than 100 days of substitute teaching pay. Some reports put the couple’s current monthly take around $20,000.

“Bills don’t stop coming just because you’re passionate about the job you have,” she told The Washington Post. On the radio, she added that she doesn’t even care who ratted her out: “In fact, they have helped it out so much.”

Kelly Education said student safety is its top priority and that it investigates concerns about its substitutes seriously. Sittner has maintained that her content, mostly filmed with her husband, sometimes involving other adults, never involved students or school grounds and was kept completely separate from her classroom work.

Her husband has scaled back his own business to help manage the surge in demand. Sittner has said the whole episode has been a financial blessing in disguise.
