A reckless Queens BMW driver who treated the Whitestone Expressway like his personal racetrack filmed the entire stunt, right up until he plowed into the back of a red Chrysler and turned his luxury sedan into scrap metal.

The white 540i, driven by a TikTok “cut-up” regular known as @540Sno, was captured weaving through traffic at breakneck speeds in late August while locked in a high-speed game of tag with another white sedan. Overhead signs for Northern Boulevard and the Whitestone Expressway flash by as the driver darts between lanes, closing gaps that leave almost no margin for error.

Seconds later the lead car cuts hard left. The BMW, trailing far too close, never sees the Chrysler sitting directly ahead. The impact is brutal — the camera jerks violently as the 540i’s front end collapses.

Follow-up footage posted by the same driver shows the once-pristine BMW sitting wrecked on the shoulder, front end destroyed and one wheel cocked inward. The driver himself walked away unhurt.

The clip, originally uploaded to TikTok on August 29 and later shared on X with the caption “Rip to the 540i,” has racked up millions of views. Commenters were less than sympathetic.

“Right into a family of four,” one viewer wrote. Others called it “reprehensible” and questioned why anyone would turn a public highway into a video game.

Sno, who has built a following by posting aggressive “no-hesi” runs on New York-area parkways, later claimed his insurance only went up $20 a month and quickly showed off a replacement vehicle. He has also said he was banned from the Grand Central Parkway after previous antics.

The incident occurred near the Cross Island Parkway split in the Whitestone section of Queens, a stretch of roadway that funnels traffic between the city and Long Island and has a long history of high-speed crashes. No arrests or serious injuries have been publicly reported in connection with this specific wreck, but the footage itself makes clear how close other motorists came to being caught in the chaos.

Highway racing and “cutting up” videos have exploded on social media in recent years, with drivers chasing likes by treating busy roads like closed courses. Experts and cops have repeatedly warned that the trend is only a matter of time before it turns deadly.

In this case, the only casualty was the BMW, and the driver’s pride.
