A furious Uber driver unleashed a profanity-laced meltdown on a stubborn female passenger who refused to leave his vehicle after he dropped her at a hospital, screaming that she was a “fing moron” and that the car was “my fing G**damn property.”
In the explosive clip filmed from the back seat, the middle-aged driver with a graying beard repeatedly bellows “Get out of my car now!” while the woman calmly films him and insists she doesn’t know where she is and needs the emergency room.
“You are facing a very—” she starts at one point. He cuts her off: “I’m facing a f***ing moron!”
The confrontation, which took place at what appears to be a California hospital, begins with the driver already at a boiling point. He tells her the ride is over because he followed the app to her requested destination.
“I pulled into your destination. It said here I was at your destination. It’s over,” he shouts, holding up his phone. “You’re at a hospital! Administration is right here. Get in there. Get out of my car, now!”
The passenger, who never raises her voice, keeps asking him to point her in the right direction. “I don’t know where I am. I’m asking you where is my destination? If you would kindly point me in the direction I’m supposed to go,” she says. “I’m going to the emergency room, sir.”
That only enrages him further.
“Gdamn you to hell!” he roars. “It is my f*ing G**damn property!”
When she tells him he has “no right to scream at me,” he fires back without hesitation: “I will f*ing talk to you any Gdamn way I want. Yes, I f**ing will. And I have the right.”
He later explains why he snapped: “You have been extremely rude, extremely condescending this whole trip. You kept me waiting way too long then told me you were in a hurry when you showed no actual effort to be in a hurry.”
At one point he threatens to call the cops and gets out of the driver’s seat, walking around to her door as if he’s ready to physically remove her. He stops short of yanking her out and instead pleads with a hospital employee who approaches the car: “Can you get her out of my car, please?”
The bystander tells her the ER is “on the other side” and offers to walk her there. The video ends with the driver still seething.
The passenger uploaded the footage under the title “Hostile Uber driver refuses to take me to ER!” and it quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of views. But online reaction overwhelmingly sided with the driver. Commenters called her passive-aggressive, entitled, and accused her of deliberately staying put so she could film a lawsuit-ready scene.
Uber suspended the driver while it reviewed the incident. A company spokeswoman said at the time that “this conduct has no place on our platform,” noting that both drivers and riders are expected to “act appropriately and respect boundaries.”
The raw footage shows a classic rideshare nightmare: a driver who has clearly had enough of being treated like a servant, and a passenger who refuses to accept that once she reaches her destination and is told to leave, the trip is done.
