The family of the 73-year-old grandmother became suspicious when the cash she hid around her Stockport home began disappearing. After fitting the secret CCTV system they then watched in horror as the footage showed 57-year-old carer Janet Maddocks taking money from the woman's handbag. Maddocks, of Marple, Stockport, has now been jailed after the family, who asked remain to anonymous, alerted police.
