GoPro has released a video of French rally car driver Guerlain Chicherit's devastating crash while attempting the world's longest car jump back in March. Chicherit had set up a base of operations in Tignes, France in his quest to break Tanner Foust's record for the longest automobile ramp jump, 332 feet. He landed a few smooth trial runs, but lost control of his custom car on the final flight attempt. The resulting footage is as equal parts grisly and astonishing. The ill-fated jump (and Chicherit's miraculous survival) goes down 7:30 into the video, but the entire 12-minute clip is worth a watch. Check out his face at the 8-minute mark when things go off track.
