Egypt: At least 10 dead as tensions rise in Cairo

At least nine anti-government protesters and one police officer were killed in violent clashes in Cairo, Sunday. It is reported that some protesters were attending a vigil to mourn 32-year-old female Shaima al-Sabbagh, shot dead by security forces on Saturday. It is reported that at least a further five people have lost their lives across the country in the cities of Alexandria and Giza and the Governorate of Beheira in the Nile Delta where protests also took place. At least 50 have also been reported as injured.
