A pre-school teacher in Texas who encouraged social media followers to “kill some Jews” and repeatedly mocked the Holocaust was fired on Wednesday, Fox News confirmed.
Nancy Salem had taught at The Children’s Courtyard, an “educational day care” in South Arlington.
“This person no longer works for our company,” a spokesperson for The Children’s Courtyard told Fox News in an email.
“Providing a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment is of the utmost importance to us,” Director of Communication Lydia Cisaruk wrote. “The offensive comments certainly don’t reflect our views. Our employees are expected to uphold certain standards of person and professional conduct. Our senior leadership thoroughly investigated this matter.”
As The Algemeiner first reported, Salem was among 24 anti-Israel activists at the University of Texas, Arlington, exposed by covert campus watchdog group Canary Mission for expressing racist and violent thoughts online.
Canary Mission captured screen grabs of Salem’s Twitter account – which is no longer active – showing the pro-Palestinian activist retweeting a fake Adolf Hitler account that ridiculed Jewish people and the Holocaust.

"Cultural Center director Hamid Sadeghi: "The City of Games for Revolutionary Children [park was opened] at Mashhad's Kooh Sangi Park by the Child and the Future Cultural Center organization. It will be open September 18 to September 28, and children aged eight to 13 will be admitted free. At the City of Games, we are trying to convey to the children messages about fighting, the Holy Defense [i.e. Iran-Iraq War] and current global issues, through games, amusements, and group activities.
"After registering, the children enter the City of Games compound and split up into groups of eight to 10. They don uniforms and go through 12 [activity] stations.
"One of [our] cultural experts guides the children at the City of Games. First they are brought into the stations of the Ghadir [Shi'ite holiday honoring Imam 'Ali's succession to the Prophet Muhammad] and of the Lovers of Ahl Al-Bayt [the family of the Prophet Muhammad descended from 'Ali], and [the guide] explains to them about the Mahdi [the Shi'ite messiah]. Then they reach the station of the Rule of the Jurisprudent [Velayat-e Faqih], and then the station of the Revolution, where the guide explains about the Islamic Revolution and how the Iranian nation vanquished the [Shah's] dictatorship. An explanation is also provided about the directives of the Imam [Ayatollah Ruhollah] Khomeini and [Supreme] Leader Khamenei. Each group of children is assigned a commander who must be obeyed.
"Next, the children enter the first station of the Holy Defense, which houses the dome of the Tomb of Imam Reza [the eighth imam]. Like the fighters during the eight years of the Holy Defense, the children take leave of the Imam Reza and set out for the [battle]fronts.
"The children follow various paths simulating fighting the enemy, and at some places, the children learn about simple [combat] methods such as firing plastic artillery shells at a simulated enemy as well as aiming and firing a rifle with plastic bullets at [an effigy] of Netanyahu and at U.S. and Israeli flags. Here the guide tells the children a story about some of the operations that were carried out during the eight years of the Holy Defense.
"[After] the children are victorious in the war, they enter the station of the defense of the Shrine of Zaynab [the granddaughter of Muhammad and the daughter of 'Ali, who according to Shi'ite tradition is buried in Damascus] and learn about defending the holy places, about the fighting in Syria against ISIS, and about anti-ISIS thought. At this stage, the children are tasked with finding bullets, each of which have a single letter written on it, and then play a game to complete sentences according to the guide's instructions. That is, the guide asks a question and the children have to find letters and make words and sentences out of them to answer his question.
"After that, the children have a contest throwing balls at effigies of ISIS and the Saudi royal family, and finish the station [activity] in triumph. Next they enter an area simulating the Shrine of Zaynab, and watch a video on the defense of the shrine. Finally, they receive a cultural souvenir gift, and then they enter the final stage.
"At the final station, the children learn that the most important element[s] for attaining victory are wisdom and intelligence for fighting the enemy.
"At this station, the children are blindfolded and asked to throw a ball at an Israeli flag in the form of a puzzle and knock it down, and then to assemble a puzzle of an Iranian flag.
"For each group, this [entire activity] path should take 30-45 minutes, and then the children are handed back to their families.
"So far, this City of Games has been in great demand... if the demand continues, we will extend it to October 1, if the Mashhad municipality's Culture and Leisure Department supports it... The exhibit hours are 4-11 pm. "

The vitriol regarding Donald Trump has been nothing short of promoting terrorist acts. Now in Los Angeles we see Donald Trump graffiti popping up begging fellow Americans to assassinate the President-elect. This is the type of vitriol that conservatives have been mentioning for decades, but suddenly when a conservative decides to stand up and fight back, it's violent rhetoric. This is what the 2016 election has been about, decades of violent rhetoric, actual attacks, assaults, terrorism, directed at conservatives. Now when somebody fights back, it's them here's the problem.

Kevin Allred told the New York Daily News that on Wednesday, NYPD came to his house in Brooklyn and dropped him off at the Bellevue Hospital psych ward, where he was kept for 2 hours until doctors told him he had no psychological issues.
“Rutgers police told them I’m a threat based on political statements I’ve made on campus and on Twitter,” Allred tweeted after police arrived at his home. “And this is for exercising my … First Amendment rights.”
“I’m being labeled a threat and put in a psych hospital,” Allred added. “Trump’s crackdown on free speech has absolutely begun.”
Allred recalled a class he taught the day after Trump won the election.
“In class, we talked about flag burning generally as a form of protest, and what does the flag mean to different people,” Allred said. “Then I made a comment, essentially saying, ‘Would people feel the same way about being so lenient with the Second Amendment if people went out and got guns to shoot random white people?”
The day after the election, Allred tweeted out, “If I see any Trump bumper stickers on the road today, my brakes will go out and I’ll run you off the road.”
Google will ban fake news sites from using its advertising software, The Wall Street Journal reports. The move will prohibit the placement of Google’s AdSense ads “on pages that misrepresent, misstate, or conceal information about the publisher, the publisher’s content, or the primary purpose,” the company told the Journal. Websites that published deliberately false news items saw a surge in traffic, influence, and cash this election season, after social-media users rushed to share too-good-to-be-true articles. Technology companies, particularly Facebook, have come under fire for failing to curb the flow of fake news. Facebook’s trending topics, which repeatedly promoted misinformation about the 2016 election, spurred a massive backlash after it was accused of influencing the race in Donald Trump’s favor. AdSense is the most popular revenue source for fake-news publishers, who now stand to lose some of their cash flow.

A University of Virginia professor has taken a leave of absence from the school after he came under scathing attack over the weekend for likening the Black Lives Matter movement to the Ku Klux Klan.
Douglas Muir, who teaches at the school, commented on Facebook that he believed that Black Lives Matter was the 'biggest' racist organization since the KKK.
Muir, who lectures at UVA's Engineering School and who also owns a restaurant in the area, was responding to a Facebook post that included a photograph of a recent appearance by BLM co-founder Alicia Garza in Charlottesville, the campus newspaper Cavalier Daily reported.
'Black lives matter is the biggest rasist organisation [sic] since the clan [sic],' Muir commented on a post by local realtor Roger Voisinet. 'Are you kidding me. Disgusting!!!' he wrote.
Garza was speaking at an event in the nearby Paramount Theater. The headline of the evening was 'Rooting Out Injustice: Poverty, Race and the Role of Legal Aid.'
The fallout from Muir's comments compelled him to delete the comment. The university released statements indicating that it was distancing itself from the professor.
'A recent comment regarding the Black Lives Matter movement, posted on social media by Doug Muir, a lecturer in our school, has raised serious concerns about UVA Engineering's commitment to diversity, inclusion and support of populations that are traditionally underrepresented in science, technology, engineering and mathematics,' UVA's Engineering School said in a statement.

A jobless mother-of-five who twice urinated on a war memorial while drunk has been jailed for seven months.
Kelly Martin, 42, outraged public decency when she desecrated the monument in broad daylight in Grays, Essex, first in April when there were still Remembrance poppy wreaths on it.
She did so a second time while on bail in June, the day before the 100th anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Somme.
Martin, who wore a blue vest top and had her hair in an off-centre pony tail, shouted 'f*** this' Judge John Lodge, sentencing, said: 'Each of these offences is so serious that only a custodial sentence is appropriate. The two cases of outraging public decency involve urinating on a war memorial.
'Inevitably war memorials were constructed at the centre of towns and villages so on a daily basis people could be reminded of the sacrifices made by people who died.
'People use them as a place around which they congregate and that's not wrong, but when people take that step further and abuse them by urinating on them that's a matter the court needs to take very seriously indeed.'as she was led down to the cells at Basildon Crown Court today.
Broc Brown, a 19-year-old from Michigan, United States, has previously been named the world’s tallest teenager and currently measures 7ft 8ins. He was the official Guinness World Record holder before he turned 19, becoming too old for the 18-and-below classification. His incredible growth is a result of a genetic disorder known as Sotos Syndrome, or cerebral gigantism, which he was diagnosed with at the age of five. “It's a genetic disorder and there's nothing that can stop him from growing - I don't know if he will ever stop,” explained his mother Darci. The record-breaking teenager, who is growing at the rate of six inches a year, is on course to become the world’s tallest man. The current record is held by Turkish farmer Sultan Kosen who stands at 8ft 2ins. His mother added that Broc has towered over his peers from a very early age. “I'd say Broc was around 5ft 2ins when he was in kindergarten,” she explained. “When he got into middle school he was around 6ft tall and by high school he was 7ft tall - he could easily grow six inches in a year.” His condition affects around one in every 15,000 people but doctors are now confident that Broc will have a normal life span despite his health problems.
Keith Lamont Scott, 43, was shot and killed by police in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Tuesday. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they recovered a gun from his vehicle after the deadly shooting, but the victim's brother claimed that he was only reading a book.
