SÃO PAULO- The security camera video shows the reaction of a civilian police approached by an assailant outside the McDonald's restaurant at Rua Henrique Schaumann, in Pinheiros.
The assailant was shot and d13d on the spot. Two other bandits who were on two motorcycles fleeing. Police removed the shell fired weapons.
The officer said he did not realize he was being followed.
The driver waited in the diner when the robber approached. Wearing a helmet, he drew his gun and announced the robbery. The civil police reacted and shot from inside the car. The robber fell. The police officer got out of the vehicle and took the man's gun.
The crime occurred around 12:45 pm in the unit located at the intersection of Henrique Schaumann Street and Rebouças Avenue, the prime area of São Paulo and heavy flow of cars and pedestrians.
The MC Donalds said the store where the assault occurred is functioning normally and that collaborates with the investigations.
The case should be investigated by DHPP (State Department of Homicides and Protection of Persons).
