A police car's dashcam caught the moment a plane came crashing down on to a road, as motorway cops could only sit and watch.
The single-engined aircraft, with a pilot and one passenger on board, skirted over the housing estate before crashing at the side of the road.
Amazingly both those on board, 61-year-old pilot Marc Allen Benedict passenger 55-year-old Gregory Guinee, walked away from the accident, which happened at about 10.20am on Sunday in Clearwater, Florida.
One neighbour told WTSP: "It sounded like all of our plates in our kitchen just fell over.
