Remember when Ted Cruz had to pull a campaign ad after it came out that one of the people in it was a porn actress? Well, she returned to CNN today and revealed her endorsement.
At the time, Amy Lindsay told Jake Tapper she had “no ill will” towards Cruz and said she believed in his message.
But she told Tapper today that she’s supporting Donald Trump. Lindsay said she’s read his books and believes him to be better on policy than people give him credit for.
She said that she empathizes with all the attacks being thrown at Trump, and now admits that Cruz pulling the ad influenced her decision “a little bit.”
Since then, Lindsay explained, she’s been “educated on what Ted Cruz stood for,” and she’s not so keen on him anymore.
