BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WPMI) Horrific dash cam video shows a man being ejected from an SUV and tossed more than 20 feet in the air in Alabama.
Investigators said it happened during a police chase on the interstate Friday morning, after the driver of the Cadillac Escalade refused to stop when a deputy tried pulling her over.
Sheriff Hoss Mack said the chase lasted less than a minute, but reached speeds over 108 miles per hour.
The driver, Kelly Carman, eventually cut off a white vehicle, causing the Escalade to crash and flip, sending passenger Michael Strickland flying into the air.
“What we do know is both individuals were heading into this area. They both had charges on them in South Carolina and then we found out the vehicle was stolen. It was stolen the previous day from the South Carolina area. After the accident we did find remnants of meth and some drug paraphernalia,” said Sheriff Mack.
