Three people are recovering and one man is in custody after a shooting in a Jackson nail salon Saturday.
The man, identified as 26-year-old Curtis Blanden, turned himself in just a few hours after the shooting.
Blanden put three people in the hospital Saturday- a man who was shot in the foot, and two women who were customers in the salon.
"At least two of these individuals are in stable condition," said Commander Tyree Jones with the Jackson Police Department. "I can not advise on the condition of one of the ladies at this time."
Blanden is being charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
"I come to this shopping center quite often and it's normally a quiet place of business," said Barrington Smith, who shops in the plaza frequently, and heard about the shooting before Blanden turned himself in. "A lot of people in and out, and this is real shocking for something like this to happen in this community."
Police were looking for him from the time of the shooting Saturday morning until a little after 4 in the afternoon, when Blanden turned himself in to authorities.
