The stunning CCTV images show the moment a courageous traffic policemen threw caution to the wind and tackled a biker who refused to stop.
Police officer Xu Chengbin was conducting routine rush-hour traffic inspections when his colleagues spotted an approaching pedicab without number plates.
The clip – which lasts just under 30 seconds – shows Xu signalling to the driver to pull over but the suspect immediately steers left and attempts to escape through some crossroads.
The amazing video shows Xu catch up to the vehicle before he eventually manages to grab hold of it as it speeds away from his stunned colleagues.
As Xu clings on to the back of the pedicab – visibly trying his best to convince the driver to stop – other officers can be seen catching up in their squad cars to apprehend the suspect.
