A shocking video shows a New Jersey woman throwing a cat from the third floor of a balcony while someone laughs in the background.
The clip, which surfaced on social media Saturday, shows how the cat fell three stories onto the sidewalk, ending his fall alive but completely immobile on the concrete. The woman and at least one other person can be heard giggling as the poor pet goes flying into the air.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested Saturday and charged with animal cruelty after a concerned citizen alerted authorities about the footage, NJ.com reported. Police believe Tikeemah J Lassiter, of Clinton, is the woman in the video.
Lassiter is accused of throwing someone else's cat through the window Thursday while visiting family in Newark.
