Larry C Johnson, the former CIA official, went on CNN's Reliable Sources and blew the lid off the entire 'Trump is lying about being wiretapped' narrative.
Johnson once worked for the CIA, but left the government three decades ago to start a consulting business. He worked as a television analyst for several years before starting his own blog on terrorism and intelligence.
Host Brian Stelter tried to discredit Johnson because he appeared on RT news, which Stelter claims is a Russian propaganda arm but Johnson was quick to remind him that he is not a partisan and was even let go from Fox News for not supporting the war in Iraq and being critical of the Bush administration.
Johnson was on the program to discuss the recent controversy over White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer using commentary from Fox News’ Andrew Napolitano that claimed British spy agency GCHQ had been wiretapping Trump Tower.
