Shocking video footage shows the moment a billboard is blown over by a strong gale before hitting a motorcyclist.
The incident took place earlier this morning in Beijing, China as the city was hit by strong wind that has caused havoc in the capital.
The wind has blown away the remnants of a sandstorm which has left the capital covered in dust over the past few days.
In the footage, recorded on a car's dashcam, a motorcyclist can be seen waiting for a car to pass.
It's clearly windy as the trees can be seen swaying and the motorcyclist's hat on the back of his moped can be seen bobbing.
All of a sudden from the right hand side, a billboard comes lose from above one of the shops.
It hits the ground and is then carried by the wind, hitting the motorcyclist in the head and knocking him off his bike.
It's unclear how injured the man was.
Other bits of debris can also be seen flying around in the wind.
The city has been hit by heavy wind today following a sandstorm which shrouded the city over the past two days.
A man was killed in Beijing's Haidian district this morning after he was hit in the head by flying debris, according to QQ.com.
Beijing's Municipal Bureau of Meteorology warned people to avoid going outside and pay attention to safety.
Many roads in the capital including the Airport Expressway have been left congested due to fallen trees.
