Four students were arrested after a fight in a Pennsylvania high school left 8 teachers injured. The fight happened Wednesday morning at Cheltenham High School in Wyncote (north of Philadelphia).A video of the brawl was posted on YouTube. It begins with two girls arguing who then start grabbing and punching each other. The fight quickly escalates with mulitple girls fighting. Hair is pulled, clothing is torn and one girl loses her wig. The video ends when a teacher who is trying to break up the fight, appears to get knocked out.
According to 6ABC, one of the students arrested is identified as Amber Nicole Lewis, 18, a high school senior. She faces four counts of aggravated assault and conspiracy. The other students are juveniles.Four of the eight teachers injured were sent to the hospital. One with a dislocated shoulder, 2 with concussions.Parents and students tell ABC6 fighting is a common problem at the high school.Extra security remains at the school this week and next.
