An explosion took place in a plastic factory in north China's Hebei Province on Sunday afternoon.
The blast happened at around 17:00 in Huanghua City. All the factory's 16 workshops caught fire after the explosion and seven people were trapped inside.
Firefighters have arrived at the site and put out the blaze.
Rescuers are now searching for anyone alive and the casualties are under investigation.
