THIS is the sickening moment a woman competing in an arm wrestle to be crowned Iron Lady broke her arm on live TV.
The butch contestant had agreed to test her strength on a popular Argentinian programme shown on TV yesterday.
But just seconds into an arm wrestling competition, a sickening crack echoed through the arena and the woman’s limb snapped out of place.
The footage shows her competitor’s mouth open in shock as she immediately puts her hand under rival’s elbow after realising something was wrong.
Medics rushed on to the stage to whisk the contestant, known only as Pamela, away.
Amazingly, Pamela managed to remain calm and expressionless despite her injury.
It was confirmed after the show she had broken her arm, rather than just dislocating her elbow as was initially feared.
Host Chino Leunis said: “Unfortunately Pamela broke her arm. She’s been put in plaster and tomorrow she’s going to be operated on. It’s a terrible shame and we will be attentive and help her.
“It was a great shock for everyone involved, I can assure you.
“Live TV is a daily learning experience.”
To be crowned Iron Lady, four contestants take part in physical and intellectual tasks to win a cash prize and be in with a chance of getting a new car.
The programme is called En Que Mano Esta? in Spanish, which translates into English as What Hand Is it In?
