Arrests were made and one antifascist protester was brought to the floor by police during a demonstration against a far-right English Defence League (EDL) rally in central London, Saturday.
The EDL, known for its anti-Islam stance, planned to march on the Houses of Parliament, allegedly calling on politicians to do more to combat the "Islamic terror threat" in the UK.
However, before the far-right protest got underway, counter protesters cornered several of the anti-Muslim activists, forcing them behind police cordons.
