A driver whose car "barrel rolled through two gardens" before landing upside down refused to have a breath test - and told police he had been attacked.
Shaun Michael Lymer, 28, was covered in broken windscreen glass when he tried to explain his injuries.
He rejected three requests to provide a breath test after being quizzed by cops in Skegness, Lincolnshire.
A neighbour told the Lincolnshire Live website the vehicle hit a tree then somersaulted through her garden.
Lymer, from Skegness, appeared in Boston Magistrates' Court where he admitted failing to provide a breath test.
