A police car was rammed head-on by a stolen vehicle during a dramatic chase that was caught on a dash cam.
The camera recorded the drama as it unfolded in the seconds before the vehicle was pushed backwards off the road.
The stolen Subaru can be seen racing ahead and ploughs into a gate, which despite smashing the car's windscreen and caving in the roof, it is driven off a speed in to a field.
The police car stops and an officer jumps out to move the twisted gate out of the road, and just as he's about to get back in the Subaru's headlights can be seen coming back.
It doesn't stop and ploughs into the stationary car, pushing it back at least 30 metres as the footage ends.
Police have since charged four people, including a 15-year-old boy.
A spokesperson for the police told The West Australian , the Subaru was stolen from a residence at Albany Creek, Brisbane in Australia.
Police claim they activated lights and sirens before the car accelerated away, travelling through road works knocking over traffic cones and nearly hitting oncoming traffic.
Police allege that following the crash the four occupants ran off and two were located shortly after, and the other two were arrested later in the day.
