A teenage archer had a lucky escape after she was shot through the NECK by an arrow which narrowly missed her throat.
Fazila Khan, 14, was apparently resting in the shade near the target when a fellow archer misfired a bolt. It pierced straight through her neck and came out the other side - thankfully missing her windpipe and vital blood vessels.
The accident happened during a practice session at Kabiguru Krirangan - the special games centre of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) in West Bengal in eastern India.
