The oldest and most complete homonid skeleton has been put on display in South Africa.
Nicknamed Little Foot, the 3.67 million old set of bones was unearthed in the 1990s and has given scientists an even greater understanding of how our species evolved.
The nearly complete skeleton has undergone two decades of painstaking work to excavate, clean, restore and analyse the bones.
They are now on display at Johannesburg's University of the Witwatersrand.
Little Foot is a member of the species Australopithecus prometheus - a precursor to modern-day homo sapiens which appeared roughly 200,000 years ago.
