A 70-year-old who took baby oil and new underwear to meet an underage boy for sex has been jailed for three-and-a-half years after he was caught on camera by paedophile hunters.
Sex offender John Dunnigan had travelled 150 miles from Blackburn to Newcastle, where he planned to meet a 15-year-old boy called 'Ben', who he had been chatting to online.
The pensioner had bombarded the underage boy with explicit sexual chat and images after befriending him over Gaychat and even live streamed footage of himself performing a sex act and saying: 'I really want to have sex with you Ben'.
But Newcastle Crown Court heard the pervert, who was on the sex offenders register for life after being convicted of having indecent images of children, had been duped by Dark Justice, a two-man organisation that sets up fake internet profiles to snare adults looking for underage sex.
The group had set up a fake profile on the website and made it clear to the pensioner he was speaking to an underage boy.
