A terrified mother and her teenage son have been attacked by a gang of thugs who assaulted them with metal chairs after a playground row.
The three men launched the savage assault during the dispute between their children.
The mum has been left with broken ribs while her 13-year-old son has been described in a "serious condition" in hospital.
The shocking attack took place when the mother's young daughter was playing on her own at the Legao Shopping Centre in Tieling City in north-eastern China's Liaoning Province.
She got into a fight with a boy and his father and two other men - possibly friends or family members - approached the mum and the two families began arguing with each other.
