This is the horrific moment a young woman who was violently attacked in a nightclub and went to hospital for treatment suddenly realised the doctor was the man who assaulted her.
Even more shockingly - and on video captured by a quick-thinking nurse on a mobile phone - he then went on to attack her for a second time.
Footage shows the woman sitting in a chair beside the doctor who appears to be getting angry and raising his voice.
He at first slams his fist on top of her hands before then trying to launch another attack which had to be broken up by a nurse.
The video was taken in a hospital in Neryungri, Yakutia region in the east of Russia.
As the doctor starts assaulting Anastasia Dmitrieva the video shows him saying: "Many witnesses will prove that you were the first to attack me."
He is also heard threatening that she faced "jail" if she put in a complaint against him.
In the clip a nurse seems embarrassed by what is going on. She unsuccessfully tries to block the recording which is being taken by others in the room.
