New video footage which appears to show a huntsman 'whipping a saboteur' is being examined by police.
It is claimed that protester Sid Leigh, 46, suffered a broken nose, a hoof print to the head and extensive bruising 'after being punched', according to DevonLive .
It's further claimed that he was trampled on by a horse during an altercation between members of South Devon Animal Rights and Dart Vale and South Pool Harriers last Saturday .
Footage of part of the incident emerged online yesterday.
Police say they are continuing to investigate the incident at Gullet Farm in South Pool, near Kinsgbridge, which has generated significant discussions across social media.
