This is the terrifying moment a brave 11-year-old boy ran from his home to raise the alarm after machete-wielding burglars burst in and 'threatened to kill' his mother.
CCTV footage released by the family shows the mum-of-three begging the armed gang to spare her eldest son as he was dragged from room to room at knifepoint during the raid.
The Metropolitan Police say the gang threatened the 17-year-old, demanding cash and valuables, before assaulting him with the butt of a knife.
