Shocking footage shows an arsonist dousing a pub in flammable liquid before setting it ablaze while a family slept inside.
Jason Wells, his wife, and their 11-year-old child, were in bed in the property above the pub when the horrific attack happened.
The couple have CCTV footage from January 25 that shows someone approach the Pelham Arms in Gravesend before dousing the exterior in a flammable liquid. The person then set fire to the to the pub on Old Road West.
Jason Wells, who runs the pub with his wife, told Kent Live : “At 5am this morning the police were banging on the door.
“We were in the building. We live in the flat above.
