A mother whose son was killed by an illegal alien is speaking out against illegal immigration and so-called sanctuary policies, taking her fight all the way to Congress.
On "Fox & Friends First," Sabrine Durden, a legal immigrant from Germany, said her son Dominic was killed in 2012 when a truck slammed into his motorcycle. The truck’s driver, Juan Zacarias Tzun, was an illegal immigrant with two felonies and two DUIs, Durden said.
She said that's why she helped create Advocates for Victims of Illegal Alien Crime (AVIAC), which is partnering up with sheriffs from across the country to call on lawmakers on Capitol Hill to put the safety of the American people first.
The group is calling for better border security and a crackdown on cities and states that shield criminal illegal immigrants from deportation by not cooperating with federal immigration authorities.
“I get very angry. It’s an insult to every law-abiding American and every law-abiding legal immigrant like myself,” Durden said.
