Around 80 firefighters are battling a huge blaze that has engulfed an $18million mansion in celebrity hotspot Bel Air.
Fire has ripped through the two-storey property on Bellagio Road - one of the exclusive streets in Los Angeles where megamansion are valued at more than $35million.
Actress Renee Zellweger is said to have sold a house on the road in 2002.
LA Fire Department said a firefighter has been injured during the response and has been taken to hospital.
They were called to a fire in the attic room of the property at 5.27pm local time on Thursday night.
It is not yet known how the fire started and if anyone was inside at the time.
Fire crews are said to have difficult getting to the mansion because the street is so narrow.
