Children were left screaming in terror after they were left suspended in mid air due to a power failure on a fairground ride.
The generator failure plunged the thrillseekers into complete darkness mid-ride at Funderworld in Bristol.
The ride was part of a pop-up amusement park in the city and fearful spectators were worried they were going to see the kids "fall off and die in front of their eyes", Bristol Post reports.
Kate Duncalf, from Liverpool, was visiting family in Coombe Dingle and decided to head to Funderworld on the Downs in Clifton with her daughter, niece and great niece yesterday.
