He’s one of the most prominent Flat Earth advocates, and now ‘Mad’ Mike Hughes has launched himself into the air on board a homemade rocket.
The launch was originally meant to take place in November, but was pushed back and finally happened on Saturday.
During the launch, Mr Hughes blasted himself around 570 metres into the air in his steam-powered rocket, before landing back to Earth - albeit with quite a bump.
Speaking to Sky News, Mr Hughes said: “This thing wants to kill you 10 different ways.”
