Young women and girls allegedly forced to work in caves as prostitutes under voodoo threats have been released by a major police operation.
Gang members controlled their victims - including minors - with threats of black magic, forcing them to perform sex acts and live in squalid conditions in Spain, according to police.
But a major operation rescued 39 Nigerian women and teenagers from a notorious sex trafficking ring in Almeria and the bust was captured in shocking video footage.
It is one of the biggest trafficking busts ever made in Europe, Europol said.
