Seconds after saying he "had to be careful", BBC presenter Mike Bushell was left wishing he had followed his own advice.
The sports broadcaster was making his way into a swimming pool to interview five of England's Commonwealth Games medalists.
But he missed the step and slipped, leaving the swimmers in hysterics.
"I'm going to have to jump into the water," he had said.
"I'm going to have to be careful because I've got a sound pack on."
England's gold medalists Sarah Vasey and Adam Peaty burst out laughing as Bushell added: "I didn't see the step.
