Video footage has emerged of cruise ship MSC Armonia crashing into a local port in Honduras, destroying part of the pier.
The MSC cruise ship was making a port of call in Roatan, Honduras when it collided with a dock at the port, causing part of the pier to collapse into the waters.
Some damage to the ship itself can also be spotted as it moves away.
The jaw-dropping moment was caught on camera by onlookers who were watching the 902ft-long ship as it approached the port on Tuesday morning.
In the video, it appears that the ship is approaching the shore at an angle, and comes in unusually close to the docks.
MSC Armonia, which boasts an impressive 65,542 gross tonnage, then strikes the pier on its port side forward, as locals rush out of the nearby waiting area to see what's going on.
