Shocking footage from inside a packed plane has revealed the scary aftermath of severe turbulence which left three injured and forced a window panel to break.
The nightmare flight - which took-off less than 24 hours after a woman died when she was 'sucked through a plane window' in a mid-flight emergency - left many of the 240 passengers on-board terrified while others were in tears.
Turbulence hit the Air India aircraft shortly after take-off and lasted almost half of the journey.
At least three people are understood to have been treated for minor injuries while camera phone footage shows a window panel also broke off.
A probe has now been launched by aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Aircraft Accident Investigation Board (AAIB).
