Dan Kohl, a Democratic candidate running in Wisconsin’s Sixth Congressional District, said during an interview that if he is elected to Congress he would not support House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi becoming speaker of the House.
“Dan Kohl says he won’t support fellow Democrat Nancy Pelosi if elected,” FOX 6 Milwaukee’s Angelica Duria reported on Monday. “He joins the list of Democratic candidates distancing themselves from the deeply unpopular Pelosi.”
“We’ve seen a change of leadership coming on the Republican side,” Kohl told FOX 6 Milwaukee. “Now I think it’s important that we see the same kind of change of the Democratic side as well. If I’m elected to Congress I would not vote for Nancy Pelosi as leader of the Democrats.”
Kohl, who is the nephew of former Sen. Herb Kohl (D-WI), would not say who he would support instead of Pelosi.
