A Florida resident is being hailed a hero for his quick-thinking actions to put out a fire after a boat erupted in flames.
Bret Townsend was out enjoying the nice weather in Tequesta on Sunday when he noticed a small boat in the middle of the water was engulfed in flames.
While onlookers stood and watched, Townsend hopped on a jet ski and raced towards the burning boat. The certified EMT and soon-to-be paramedic made sure no one was aboard before he jumped into action.
