A baby was thrown out of an upstairs window by his terrified mum as a huge fire engulfed their home.
The 11-month-old tot was launched by the mother as gigantic flames licked the outside of the building.
A brave neighbour - believed to be a former Marine - stood and waited as the little one was dropped, before leaping into action to catch the falling child.
The amazing act of bravery was caught on camera, although the filming stopped before the mum reportedly jumped out of the window too.
