Nail-biting footage has captured the moment a policeman raced towards an oncoming train in a desperate bid to save a man lying on the tracks.
Incredible body-worn camera footage shows officer Kyle Savoia sprinting towards the scene of the incident, which had been reported to the emergency services.
With just seven months of on-the-job experience, the officer arrived at the scene, where a member of the public pointed to the man on the tracks.
In the footage, officer Savoia can be heard desperately shouting as he runs, hoping the man will respond.
"Hey, bud, move," he shouts.
