Dramatic dashcam footage captures a low-flying SAS helicopter appear from thick mist and startle drivers on a busy country lane.
Brian Weatherall, 45, had to slam his brakes along the treacherous mountain pass on Thursday afternoon.
The 37-second clip shows the aircraft appear quickly through the gloom on the Kirkstone Pass, Cumbria, and almost skim a stone wall by the mountainside.
It is believed the chopper was an SAS aircraft practising manoeuvres in difficult weather conditions.
