Whales are majestic creatures - and seeing them in real life is on a lot of people's bucket lists.
One family was out on a boat in Puget Sound, Washington, when a group of inquisitive humpback whales approached them.
In a video originally posted on Facebook by Darren Lucianna, the whales were initially met with amazement by the family - but awe quickly turned into fear when the whales went under the boat.
As a man in the video can be heard trying to keep his family calm and focused on the incredible moment but struggles to keep his cool, shouting: "He's just checking us out!... It's fine!".
