A thug who savagely beat up a traffic warden "for doing his job" in a horrific attack captured on video has been locked up for nine months.
Danyal Bashir, 20, from Birmingham, admitted assaulting Charlie Weston occasioning actual bodily harm on September 14.
The 21-year-old warden was left lying helplessly on the floor as a group of men repeatedly stamped on his head after he approached a car to give it a ticket.
Mr Weston said he felt "lucky to be alive" following the ordeal which happened in Birmingham and left his face splattered with blood.
Today, Bashir was sentenced to nine months' detention in a young offenders' institution at Birmingham Crown Court. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge by the judge.
