A man 'used his car as a weapon' to mow down a woman in a horrific street attack that left her needing skin grafts.
Kirk Starzyk deliberately drove his vehicle at Deborah Nicholson after he became enraged during an argument between the pair in Scunthorpe on September 1 last year.
Starzyk, 55, denied wounding Miss Nicholson with intent to cause grievous bodily harm but was found guilty by a jury at Grimsby Crown Court.
He admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving and was jailed for 12-years, Grismby Live reported.
His victim suffered horrific injuries and is in constant pain after he mounted the pavement and used his Puegot to pin her against the wall.
CCTV showed how Starzyk chased Ms Nicholson along a residential street in his car before aiming at his victim and driving straight at her.
He then callously speeds off as bystanders come to the aid of the injured Ms Nicholson, who lies badly injured in the street.
She was taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital and later needed operations and skin grafts for severe leg injuries.
