Los Angeles Police department officers risked their lives to enter a burning building with no equipment or masks to rescue a man trapped inside, dramatic footage of the incident shows.
The rescue operation was captured on an officer's bodycam and the video was released yesterday by LAPD on its YouTube channel.
The Mission Area officers were finishing up a call when they noticed a plume of smoke rising from a building block in Sylmar - a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region of LA.
