An attacker screaming "I will kill you" knifed a schoolgirl and a man to death and injured 16 other young girls in a bloody rampage in a Japanese city.
The suspect, in his 50s, killed himself by slashing his own neck after attacking the victims with multiple knives at a bus stop in Kawasaki, just south of Tokyo.
A 11-year-old girl and a 39-year-old man - believed to be a father of one of the children - were stabbed to death, and a woman was severely injured along with the 16 other schoolgirls who were hurt.
A bus driver told of the horrifying moment he saw the attacker approach the Caritas Elementary School pupils and slash at them as he wielded a knife in each hand.
