People have smashed windows and set fires in Seattle after a protest on Saturday night.
Seattle Police have arrested seven people for assault and property damage.
SPD says people in the group have set fires at 11th and Pine Street. They’re asking people to avoid the area. They issued a crowd dispersal order in the area due to “public safety concerns.”
About an hour later, SPD issued a second order for dispersal at 11th and Olive over fires. Seattle Fire was able to extinguish both fires.
SPD tweeted, “Crowd has also begun throwing bottles ad rocks at officers.” They also tweeted out photos of graffiti and broken windows at the Columbia Center.
